History of the University of Roehampton
Established in 1841 by the National Society of the Church of England as a college for women pursuing teacher training. It got its name from Whitelands House, a Georgian house on Chelsea's King's Road, where it first opened. The Methodist Church in Battersea founded Southlands College as a female teacher training institution. In 1965, it became coeducational. The University of Surrey Roehampton was established in 2000 as a result of the Roehampton Institute and University of Surrey merging. Roehampton was given the status of an autonomous university in 2004 by the Privy Council. These days, the university's research is concentrated on enhancing culture, advancing human welfare, and shaping public policy.

The University of Roehampton fee for undergraduate students is £9000 for domestic students, and £12,500 for international tuition. For any of our undergraduate and taught postgraduate programs, you may be asked to submit an initial refundable deposit before making your complete deposit payment if you are a foreign candidate (with the exception of the United States, Norway, and the European Union).
By making the first refundable deposit payment, you will guarantee your spot in the program (as long as you meet any requirements included in your offer) and have access to a pre-CAS interview.
When you enlist, your deposit will be subtracted from your tuition costs. The applicable undergraduate or postgraduate course websites will contain the tuition price for your study.
Scholarship

In order to be admitted to the University of Roehampton for undergraduate (BA, BSc, BFA, LLB), postgraduate (LLM, MA, MSc, MBA, MFA), or research (MPhil, PhD, PsychD) programs, you must provide proof that you meet the minimal requirements for competence in the English language.
Roehampton cannot provide a Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS), which is required to apply for a Tier 4 visa, to any candidate who does not fulfil the minimal English language criteria.
