Application Process and Deadline for HEC Paris Scholarships

HEC has a five-week intensive application process.

1.Connect with the counselor/faculty.

  • The applicant can complete an online inquiry form and upload an updated resume.

2.The online application system allows candidates to fill in their complete details and apply well before the due date to prevent any delays.

  • HEC Paris' MBA program is renowned globally and receives a high volume of applications. To enhance your chances, especially if you're seeking campus accommodation or need to secure a student visa, it's advisable to submit your application well in advance. 
  • For those interested in dual-degree options, deadlines may vary; consult the specific section on our website and contact the officials for detailed information. 
  • Typically, the application process takes about 4 to 6 months, and we recommend completing your registration at least one month prior to the commencement of the program.

Required Documents for HEC Scholarship Applications

Your application must include the following requirements:

  1. Completed Application Form
  2. Completed Essay
  3. Two Recommendations
  4. Current Professional Resume in English
  5. Passport-style Photo
  6. Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions
  7. Copy of Passport (copies of both if you have dual nationality) or birth certificate
  8. Official GMAT score - 83% percentile under each format.
  9. Non-refundable application fee of €200.

Selection Criteria and Evaluation Process

The first step in selection after the application is received is: 

  1. The pre-selection jury examines the application based on submitted documents (mentioned in the next section).
  2. After due consideration, the selected applicants are called for an interview process. Alumni of the HEC Paris MBA will interview the applicant.
  3. Both interviews have equal weight in our decision-making process. Each consists of a 10-minute oral presentation on the topic of your choice, followed by an in-depth discussion concerning your application.
  4. Interviews usually occur two weeks before the final admissions jury.
  5. Following the completion of interviews, the Admissions Jury, comprising representatives from the French Ministry of Education, HEC Paris Alumni, faculty members, and the Dean of the HEC Paris MBA, will conduct a thorough review of your application. 
  6. This includes assessing your essays, recommendations, and interviewer notes. Within hours of the jury’s meeting, our team will inform you of your admission status. The Admissions Jury convenes 12 times annually.

30% Club Scholarship

  • Deserving female candidates in the field of business are given the scholarship (50% of tuition fees for the first year of studies).
ARD/HEC Paris Scholarship
  • French armed forces officers who have started their training in ARD
  • Enrolled in the HEC Paris MBA program.
  • The amount awarded is €16,000.
