The primary objective of the Master of Psychology (Clinical) Degree is to provide advanced education in the professional practice of Psychology. The training is based on a scientist-practitioner model and is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and applied skills required by a registered practising psychologist with an emphasis in the area of program specialisation (i.e., Clincal Psychology). The program draws from a range of theoretical perspectives informed by contemporary research and practice. The Masters by Coursework Degree integrates coursework, research and practical placement experience. Students complete a series of placement experiences under the supervision of highly qualified and experienced Supervisors, and apply best practice models to a professional standard. Upon successful completion of program requirements, graduates are eligible to apply for full registration as a Psychologist, full membership of the APS, and associate membership of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. ...Read more
