The University of Alabama was inaugurated in 1831 in the state of Alabama, USA. The University of Alabama pioneered the state to offer engineering classes in 1838. UA consists of 12 colleges and schools presenting 70 undergraduate programs. Over 38000 diverse students worldwide study in the USA under this university. The official student newspaper of UA, The Crimson and White, was named so in 1894. UA is positioned among 1001 to 1200 universities per QS university world ranking. Its official football team is known as Crimson Tide, and it is the only major university with an elephant as a mascot.

The University of Alabama offers nearly 200 degrees in Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral programs with a student-faculty ratio of 23:1. They also provide professional courses like Law & Rural Medicine.
