If a student has an outstanding balance on the last day of class and does not adhere to the terms and conditions of their agreed payment arrangement, they will be automatically dropped from all subsequent semesters. UNBC's overdue policy applies to all past-due customers, even those with established payment plans.

Unpaid bills are still owed by students who withdraw from the university or fail to pay their fees by the deadline. To reclaim delinquent accounts, the University may pursue legal action or work with an outside collection agency. Any legal fees that the university expended during this procedure would be charged to the student's account.

University of Northern British Columbia Courses and Fees

Upon registering for a course or program, you become obligated to pay fees, which are all due and payable on the first day of the semester. Unless otherwise stated, late registration and any additional fees that become due as a result of a student's changes in registration or other activities are payable on the day the charges are incurred.

It is the obligation of students to make sure that their account balance is always in good standing. If a student is unable to pay in full by the first day of each semester, they should get in touch with UNBC if they are going through temporary financial difficulties.  It is the responsibility of students to provide a payment plan that works for UNBC, wherein the student account is settled in full by the last day of school each semester. UNBC must receive all payments by the dates specified in the agreement.
