Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a popular examination for admissions into management programs worldwide. GMAT exam assesses skills that are vital for business and management programs. The exam is divided into four sections to evaluate candidates on various parameters like analytical writing, problem-solving abilities, and critical reasoning skills vital to real-world business and management.

The four sections of the GMAT:

  1. Analytical Writing Assessment
  2. Integrated Reasoning
  3. Quantitative Reasoning
  4. Verbal Reasoning.

In the analytical writing assessment section, candidates are examined on their ability to communicate their ideas and think critically about problems. The integrated reasoning section assesses candidates' abilities regarding data analysis and evaluation of all information. The quantitative reasoning section measures the ability of candidates to analyze data and come up with a valid and logical conclusion with the help of their reasoning skills. Verbal reasoning assesses candidates' proficiency in reading and absorbing written information. Also, it measures candidates' ability to read and write information adhering to specific written English standards.
