So, how to settle in Spain? Like every other global country, Spain also has its requirements for aspirants. You must meet diverse criteria if you wish to live, work, and study in Spain.

You will need the following documents for moving to Spain from India on a short-stay visa:

  • A Schengen Visa application form that is duly filled.
  • A photograph not older than six months (35-45 millimeters) and on a white background.
  • For minors, the application should have the notarized letter of authorization signed by their parents. Any parent absent during the application should provide signature proof and a notarized passport/PAN card/driving license copy.
  • The passport of the aspirant is needed with a minimum of two blank pages and validity, which spans at least three months after the intended stay. Reasons for any visa refusal in the last two to three years should be stated.
  • If applicable, proof has to be furnished of a family relationship like marriage, legal partnership, or birth certificate. The Spanish Civil Registry should have issued these certificates.
  • Proof of any dependency, i.e., health problems, economic issues, and disabilities, if the children or parents are above 21.
  • Proof of legal residence in India if the applicant is not an Indian national.
  • Proof of funds. To get your Spanish visa, you should show at least €573 (INR 49,114) in your bank account for trips till 10 days or €70.77 (INR 6,066)each day for more extended stays.

Indian nationals will need long-stay study/work visas or the Schengen visa. First, you have to understand the visa type you require based on your trip length, purpose, and other factors. It is also dubbed as the Golden visa.

Wealth visas are given to those who can prove sufficient funds to stay in the country without working. Investor visas also provide residence rights to foreigners who can invest funds up to a specific amount and a viable business plan.
