What is TGB? The full form of TGB is Telangana Grameena Bank. The State Bank of Hyderabad-sponsored bank was founded by combining four RRBs: 1) Grameena Bank Sri Saraswathi, Adilabad 2) Karimnagar's Sri Satavahana Grameena Bank 3) Golconda Grameena Bank, Ranga Reddy (Hyderabad); 4) Sri Rama Grameena Bank, Nizamabad.
On March 24, 2006, the Indian government renamed Deccan Grameena Bank as Telangana Grameena Bank, which encompasses the bank's operations in the districts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad, Rangareddy, Warangal, Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Mahaboobnagar, and Medak in the state of Telangana. As the remaining five districts in the state of Telangana are being transferred from Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank, the bank is currently only operating in the five districts it previously served: Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Rangareddy, and Hyderabad.

Step 5: Deposit a minimum amount into your savings account in accordance with its guidelines.

Step 6: Get a debit card, passbook, check book, and other paperwork from the bank.

These are the procedures to create a current account at Telangana Grameena Bank:

Step 1: First, visit a bank branch.

Step 2: Filling up a current account's Account Opening Form (AOF)

Step 3: Attach any necessary (mandated) documentation to the AOF.

Step 4: AOF and other paperwork are verified by a banker.

Step 5: Fund the account with the required minimum.
