  • Upon reflection, how has your perspective regarding your future, Chicago Booth, and/or getting an MBA changed since the time of your last application? (Maximum 300 words.)

2.Northwestern University (Kellogg)

Candidates have to submit a response (maximum 1,000 words) which answers these questions- 

  • Their academic interests and reasons for pursuing graduate studies in the program. 
  • How their professional and academic backgrounds helped prepare them for the program. 
  • How the program will help candidates achieve their professional and intellectual objectives. 

The institution requires another response of 500 words for a prompt. This states that as a student in the program, there should be a response on how you will contribute to a community that values inclusion, equity, cultural humility, and a sense of belonging. The answer can derive from your present/past experiences. 

3.University of Pennsylvania (Wharton)

Essay 1- Express how you will use the MBA course to achieve future professional goals. (400 words)

Essay 2- Write an essay on how your professional, academic, and personal background can help you make better contributions to the community. (400 words)

Optional Essay- You can share additional information about yourself in 500 words that is not available anywhere else in the application and that you wish to share with the university admissions committee. 

4.Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan)- 

You should submit a letter of 300 words seeking acceptance into the program while including professional examples about why you fit into the same. 

While writing, remember that the institution seeks students with attributes that indicate that they will make the most of the course. They want students with vision, drive, and determination, along with doers, independent thinkers, and those who want to solve problems with unique approaches. 

Optional Short Answer Question:

5.Harvard Business School 

To get admission into this Ivy League from India, you need to write a 900-word impressive essay. 

The institution seeks responses on what more the candidate wants it to know with regard to considering his/her candidacy for the MBA program. The institution encourages applicants to share their professional and personal experiences from their backgrounds, demonstrating their abilities to contribute to HBS

Those applying for joint programs with the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard Medical School, Harvard Kennedy School, and Harvard Law School should also write another essay. 6.Dartmouth College (Tuck) 

Applicants should write responses to the following prompts:

Additional information or insights that have not been fully addressed in the application. 

7.Stanford University

The institution requires two personal essays. The maximum word count is 1,050 words for both essays combined. The institution recommends up to 650 and 400 words for Essay A and B, respectively.

  • Essay B: Why has the aspirant chosen Stanford, and how will it help achieve future goals?
