The release of the Young University Ranking by Times Higher Education (THE) provides a rank list for the world’s top universities that are 50 years old or younger. Unlike other world university ranking providers, THE rank list represents universities from countries other than the US and UK. The list includes new emerging education hubs worldwide. It judges the universities based on the various 13 parameters. It focuses on aspects such as teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.

As many as 66 new countries have been added to the list in 2023, as 605 universities were ranked by THE.
