The University of Salford UK has three campuses, namely Frederick Road, Peel Park, and MediaCity UK. The University of Salford was founded on 10th February 1967. The institution was established from the fusion of several institutes and technical colleges. The Royal Technical Institute was renamed the Royal Technical College in 1921 and this was divided into the Peel Park Technical College and Royal College of Advanced Technology in 1958. The former became the Peel Park Technical Institute in 1961 and eventually the Salford College of Technology in 1970. The University College Salford was formed thereafter in 1992. The Royal College of Advanced Technology turned into the Univesity of Salford in 1967. The two institutions finally merged in 1996.
The University of Salford’s ranking is 801-1000 in the 2022 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings list and it is also ranked at 801-1000 in the QS World University Rankings tally.
The University has three campuses as mentioned and they are home to top-of-the-line infrastructure including food outlets, cafes, and more. There is also a student store and the Clifford Whitworth Library along with the Faith Centre and Peel Park.

Financial
International students have to pay GBP 14,400 (INR 14.40 lakh) to GBP 16,740 (INR 16.74 lakh) for undergraduate programs while postgraduate students have to pay between GBP 11,340-18,990 (INR 11.34-18.99 lakh) in tuition costs.
Students should also budget at least GBP 9,207 (INR 9.20 lakh) for every year in terms of living costs over and above the tuition costs. The monthly cost may hover around GBP 1,023 (INR 1.02 lakh) as well.
