You can surely practice medicine in India. You must clear the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) for it. FMGE Registration Process

The FMGE is conducted to ensure you meet the Indian healthcare standards set by the National Medical Commission (NMC) to practice medicine in India. Before registering, ensure you comply with the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.

  • You must possess the primary medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent).
  • The Indian Embassy must confirm the degree.
