With a focus on experienced-based learning and current business trends, the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration will help you take the next step in your career. As part of your studies, you will further develop your managerial skills and specialised knowledge by studying areas such as strategic management, managerial finance, international business, ethics, marketing, and leadership and change management. You will develop advanced skills in thinking strategically and critically, and understand ethical considerations within a local and international context. This postgraduate degree is offered as part of a nested suite in Business Administration where each qualification extends to the next, so you can easily transition to the next level qualification. If you decide to exit this qualification having completed the first four courses you will receive a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. If you complete this qualification and wish to do further study, you can use this degree as a pathway and gain credit for successfully completed courses into the Master of Business Administration. You will study a foundation course in strategic thinking, then select seven courses from a diverse range of subject areas including advanced electives. You will further develop business administration skills and knowledge by studying strategic management, managerial finance, international business, ethics, marketing, leadership and change management, and more. All courses have an applied focus. They draw on real-life business case studies, and you are encouraged to use industry and workplace based issues for assessment tasks. We deliver experiential learning opportunities with direct application to the workplace which will deepen your expertise in fields such as strategy, marketing, finance, leadership, law, international business, and ethics and sustainability. You will also have the opportunity to study the Company Directors Course embedded within your MBA through a unique partnership with the Australian Institute of Company Directors the only of its kind in Australia. Our fully-flexible MBA allows you to tailor your studies to suit your individual needs with the option to study face-to-face (including intensives and evening classes), online or in mixed mode, as well as full-time or part-time. As a guide, full-time MBA students generally undertake two courses per study period and part-time students undertake one course per study period. Studying the MBA full-time will normally take 18 months, however you can fast-track your study and finish in just 12 months. Part-time students taking one course per study period can typically complete the MBA in three years.
