Latest About INSEAD Singapore
Faculty at INSEAD have conducted new research that examines the possible drawbacks of anti-corruption initiatives as well as the strategies used by established businesses to successfully fend off emerging technologies that have the potential to supplant them. Another study looks at how job seekers self-censor when negotiating salary at companies that emphasize the social value of their work. Some published works explore the effects of data that is focused on the short term on financial forecasting, as well as the outcomes of scientific methodologies used by entrepreneurs.
Anti-corruption initiatives affect a nation's attractiveness as an investment destination by affecting its institutional stability; yet, significant change necessitates a complete reconstruction of the current framework. The campaign-style anti-corruption enforcement in emerging-market nations can result in "regulatory institutional misalignment," as government agencies monopolize resources while bureaucratic discretion declines, as demonstrated by INSEAD's Guoli Chen and his co-authors.
