University of the West Scotland, UK, was formerly known as the University of Paisley. The Paisley School of Design was founded in 1848 and the foundation stone was laid for the Paisley Technical School laid in 1897. In 1999, the campus at Dumfries was set up while the university ultimately became the University of the West of Scotland in 2007 via mergers. 3. Other acceptable English language qualifications include IELTS 6.0 and TOEFL iBT 78. Other scores include CAE 176, CPE 176, PTE 54, and Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English ISEII with Pass in sub-tests.
