Azusa Pacific University: Rankings, Courses & Admissions

APU's seven regional campuses in Southern California, in addition to its flagship campus in Azusa, provide working professionals with bachelor's degrees as well as master's degrees. We provide a variety of online degree programs to assist people who are unable to come on campus in achieving their goals. 

26 miles northeast of Los Angeles, in a suburban area called the San Gabriel Valley, is where Azusa Pacific University's campus may be found. The East campus and the West campus are Azusa Pacific's two campus wings.

Three residence halls and five apartment-style homes are available to undergraduate students at APU as on-campus housing options. By filling out the Request for Campus Housing Assignment Form, all freshmen and sophomores at APU must live on campus.

Double and triple occupancy rooms with all the essential amenities are available in the multi-story coed and women's residence halls. Additionally, there are study rooms, card-operated laundry rooms, and communal restrooms in each wing. According to university standards, residents living in residence halls need to acquire a dining plan.

Admissions at Azusa Pacific University offers resources to help aspiring international and domestic students. The following procedures are mandatory-

• Step 1: Students are encouraged to gather more information about the university and its programs
• Step 2: Students can then choose the program of their choice
• Step 3: Students can visit Azusa Pacific for a campus tour or they may also take a virtual tour
• Step 4: Students can then apply to their desired courses with an application fee of $45
• Step 5: It is important to review scholarship programs and costs after applying to the courses
• Step 6: Students who are admitted will receive a formal mail from the university. 

Admission does not require SAT or ACT exam results. However, since they might be used to determine eligibility for extra academic scholarship grants, applicants are advised to submit their SAT or ACT scores.

The following documents are required for applying to the degree courses at Azusa Pacific University-

Exam Requirements for Azusa Pacific University

It is advised that all candidates to the university satisfy the following minimums to make sure that each incoming student is ready to excel at APU programs-

• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is considered for regular admission
• A cumulative GPA of 2.5 to 2.99 is considered for conditional admission
• For transfer students, a cumulative college GPA of 2.2 is considered for regular admission
• Admission does not require SAT or ACT exam results. However, since they might be used to determine eligibility for extra academic scholarship grants, applicants are advised to submit their SAT or ACT scores.
• The average SAT composite score for the 2016-2017 academic year was 1051.
• The average ACT composite score for the 2016-2017 academic year was 25.
• Undergraduate students must acquire either 80 in the TOEFL iBT with a minimum of 20 in reading and listening, 18 in speaking, and 22 in writing, or 6.0 in the IELTS. 
• Graduate students must acquire either 90 in the TOEFL iBT with a minimum of 22 in reading and listening, 22 in speaking, and 24 in writing, or 7.0 in the IELTS.
