Eastern Michigan University offers multiple residence options on campus, including Brown and Munson Hall, Cornell and Westview, Village, and 601 West Forest. The apartments are well-furnished, with amenities like couches, coffee tables, kitchen tables, dressers, and laundry machines. Eastern Michigan University (EMU) offers a Test Optional admission policy for first-year applicants, ensuring opportunity and access for incoming students. This policy applies to domestic students entering through Fall 2024. To be considered for test-optional admission, follow these steps:

• Apply to EMU through the Select Scholars application page.
• Meet the minimum requirement of a 2.0 cumulative High School Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher for consideration.
• EMU uses a test-optional admissions model. Students with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.75 or better are getting relief from submitting standardized test scores.
• Test scores may be requested based on application and academic past history for students with a GPA of 2.5 to 2.74 who may be considered test-optional.
• Students who have earned a total high school GPA of 2.49 or below must submit a test result to get selected for university.
• Official transcripts are required for all admission consideration.

• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): Minimum score of 61 iBT (TOEFL Home Edition also accepted).
