Edinburgh Napier University is a public university situated in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland in the United Kingdom (UK). The university started as Napier Technical College in 1964, with 800 students enrolling in areas like cabinet making, chemistry, engineering, and boat construction.
The university is named after John Napier, the inventor of decimal points and logarithms. In the year 1992, it was granted university status as Napier University. The name of the institution was altered four times before it was eventually settled on the current title in 2009.

Infrastructure
Edinburgh Napier University’s three main campuses are located in Craiglockhart, Sighthill, and Merchiston.
