The School of Law is equipped with a purpose built courtroom and specialist teaching facilities. Wherever you study law, it can be a challenging and rewarding subject. At Worcester, the big difference is the personal level of support we give you throughout your law degree. In fact, we even build our teaching around it. Seminar groups are small so you develop close working relationships with your lecturers - both in these groups and when role-playing court procedures in our realistic facilities. You'll also get to meet solicitors, barristers and judges, who visit us as guest speakers to give you a real flavour of the profession. Students can also study on the LLB (Hons) Law with Criminology and LLB (Hons) Law with Forensic Psychology. The teaching team is made up of barristers, solicitors and legal academics with a range of research interests and professional experience. All the team are highly experienced lecturers and active researchers in their areas. Students in the School of Law will be taught by lecturers who are not only experienced and highly motivated teachers but also legal academic experts in their fields.

This Institute boasts truly world class facilities - the fact that we were selected as a training base for athletes preparing for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games is testament to the strength of our facilities. We have a multi-purpose indoor sports centre, two floodlit synthetic pitches, an exercise physiology suite, two further sports science laboratories, nutrition laboratory, teaching rooms, gymnasium and dance studio. Recent major developments have seen the introduction of the award-winning Riverside Building and the 2,000 seat Worcester Arena. Our innovative Motion and Performance Centre is situated on the St John's campus and has expertise in a wide range of areas, ranging from Physical Activity, Exercise and Health to Biomechanics and Sport and Exercise Physiology. The Institute has many sporting links, with a particular strength in basketball. Our men's and women's teams have both enjoyed considerable success, and the British Basketball League professional team the Worcester Wolves are also based on campus.
