Columbus State University, also known as Columbus college, is a junior college situated in Columbus, Georgia. It was established in 1958 by the board of regents. In the first year, almost three hundred students joined the course. Initially, the college had fifteen staff members when it was set up around 64 years ago.
From 1988 to 2008, Frank Brown was the president of Columbus State University. In August 2008, he resigned, and Tim Mescon became the president, and in 2015 Chris Markwoodbecame the president, and he is the current president of Columbus State University.
